1 - Easy Me
(K. Llewellyn/G. Hannah)

I have never really taken myself too seriously. Life is fun, I can be a real dag sometimes, and I certainly don't like to think life is too much to bare. So Easy Me came about one time when life was hectic, and somewhere amongst theangst, I was able to find a haven. The song reiterates "nothin's going wrong, no use in complainin', something's in life don't need explainin'". Call it what you want, sometimes it's nice to just shrug it all off!

2. Don't
(A. Anderson /Chuck Jones)

I believe if you have something so special and you are going to jeopardise it, I would hope there would be a little voice in your head telling you to stop before it's too late. In this world, you can't have both, and this song knows just what you should do - Don't…

3. Nathalie
(Jill Johnson/ Liz Rose & Pam Rose)

On the sunshine coast of Queensland, a little boy called Daniel went missing without a trace. His family, his community, and the whole country has felt the burden of his disappearance. Even though we always wish for the best, that he is safe somewhere, we will never be the same person again after losing a part of us. Nathalie tells the story of feelings of anyone that has felt the loss of a child. Daniel's story has really touched me, as that of Nathalie's, and I'm sure it will you, too.

4. Letting Go
(K. Llewellyn)

The last few years have been big for me, and I have been faced with some of the most memorable moments that I will remember for the rest of my life. One of those big things was assuring my mum I would be 'ok' in the big world. This song is particularly dedicated to mothers and daughters who are letting go. It's an emotional song that reiterates the special bond that a mother and daughter have.

5. Done a Lotta Livin' in these shoes
(K. Sackley/ D.Wells)

This song tells the story of the little things in life that shapes up you be the person we are today. Everything from the bad and ugly, to loving like you didn't know your heart could break in two. I know everything that we face in our life, whether it be bad or fantastic, it's the journey that matters most, and not the destination.

6. Over You
(K. Llewellyn)

Over you came about when I was wrapped up under a sheet, in a lonely motel room, the curtains were shut and I was missing someone desperately. Even though I had not lost them, being away so long (on a music adventure) had pulled at so many feelings that I could not bare. The feeling has been pulled from my roots, and I guess it's something that seemed to write itself. Everything came so naturally, and the haunting night I was alone became a song.

7. Through Your Tears
(K.Llewellyn/G.Hannah/K.Bennett)

I wrote this song about a friend in mind with my favourite songwriter Kevin Bennett & producer Glen Hannah. This person had made a very big decision. I put myself in their shoes and imagined the things that would be going through my head. I guess the hurt surrounding your decision can cloud your better judgements. "I don't wanna hurt you, but I can't stay here". Sometimes it is difficult to see the real meaning of your feelings when there is a chance you could break a heart in the process.

8. Come a Day
(K.Llewellyn/K.Bennett)

Growing up, I never really fit in. There was always a time when something, someone or even myself would put me down. I guess I am lucky that I am strong willed and I never let it get to me. I always imagined that there would come a day when all of those bad memories would be over shadowed by my happiness. "There will come a day when you'll be stronger, and they'll look at you in wonder at the person you've become" were the first words I wrote when Kevin Bennett helped to tell a story, to which I am sure are feelings that have, at sometime, crossed everyone's minds.

9. Change
(Al Anderson/Carolyn Dawn Johnson)

When the power goes out - I get excited. It sounds strange, but I enjoy a little change. Something that might throw you off course, only leads you to find a new direction. This song won't change the world in any great way, but it takes heartbreak in a new direction, and looking at your own current situation. Instead of waiting for the other person to change for the better, turn the cards and change it yourself!

10. Rhiannon
(S.Nix)

"She is like a cat in the dark, then she is the darkness, she rules her life like a fine sky lark, and when the sky is starless" In a strange way, Rhiannon reminds me of me, in a way that she has a vivid imagination, is her own unique person and travels on her own journey. Her tale is of a goddess, who has the spirits of three birds, and when you're spirits are down, the song of Rhiannon's birds will lift them… I was so afraid to record this song & do it justice, but as we progressed with the album I fell in love with it even more. I hope you love this song has it has captured my heart

11. Supernatural

(Marcus Hummon/Mark Prentice)

We all like to think that we can do anything, and especially for that special someone. This song is from the parallel world, and ventures into the fantasies of being able to do anything. It's got a touch of sex appeal & I love the upbeat feeling of being alive.

NEW ALBUM - ME
Review by Sue Jarvis (Capital News, March 2007)

KELLY LLEWELLYN's one of the new breed of talented rising stars on the country scene who are taking our music forward into the twenty-first century by attracting a passionate new audience.

And this album - Kelly's debut full-length recording - will certainly do that. With producer Glen Hannah, Kelly's crafted an album full of slick production standards and exciting sounds.

Kelly's distinctive, husky voice has the capacity to pack a huge emotional punch, evidenced by her impressive version of FLEETWOOD MAC hit Rhiannon.

But it's Kelly's own compositions that are the real highlights of this album, including the album's title track, Easy Me, which is a sure-fire hit, the touching Letting Go, the funky Don't - a classic example of how Kelly is making country music cool - and Natahalie, a song inspired by stories of missing children.

And the icing on the cake is a stunning song written by former Star Maker KYLIE SACKLEY, Done a Lotta Livin' In These Shoes which Kelly delivers brilliantly.
